SMITHBLAST SESSIONS

During my time off from touring with SUFFOCATION, I´m available for hire for bands in need of a drummer to help complete their projects. Online file sharing works as the most economical and quickest means to get your songs completed as you envision it.

How it works is:
First Contact me: (Mike Smith) at smithblast@gmail.com to chat and clarify cost details, hopes, dreams, deadlines or time restraints once we become biz associates we proceed like this:

  • Send me your song ideas or completed guitar track mp3´s
  • 50% of the fee is due prior to starting the session
    • Scratch guitar track ideas intended for later re-recording in your studio of choice is fine.
    • Any song ideas ex, vocals, bass, as well as your own drum ideas are all welcome for song reference.
  • I transfer your guitar tracks to Pro-tools where I then create and record scratch drum tracks to it.
    (initial drum ideas and direction are sent to you for approval until you and I are satisfied)
  • Once the drum tracks are agreed upon as your intended vision, or beyond. The second 1/2 of the final session cost is due via pay-pal.
  • Once the 2nd payment is received,
    • I record and edit the final drum performance
    • I send the session files to you complete and ready for use
    • At this point your session is complete and you are free to mix and/ or re-record your remaining tracks to suit your vision to shred.
  • Promote your masterpiece to the world.
    If you´d like ill promote the final product on my sites as well as a sign of eternal appreciation and resume completions.
